Here are some formal shots of my latest Waltham Bench. This one is six feet long and has six legs. I am not sure what to call it. Moby Bench after the white whale? It is actually a very light gray milk paint. This is the first one of this design that I have built at this length. Also the client asked to have the back finish off about 5" taller than my normal back height. It gives it such a grand look that I keep wanting to call it the State House Bench. It has been a beautiful day-before-Easter here in Vermont. 80 degrees and sunny. I got out for a good hard bike ride today and still have a long way to go before considering myself to be back in shape.
